Join Kathy Connolly for this informative presentation on Fall Gardening Best Practices: Leave the Leaves.

Kathy Connolly is an award-wining landscape designer specializing in naturalized designs, low-impact landscape techniques, and native plants. This program is made possible by the Cheshire Pollinator Pathway, thanks to a generous grant from the Petit Family Foundation, and by the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library.

You are welcome to drop in, ask questions, and take home plants.It's our way to get more native plants into the community. Your butterflies and birds will thank you!

  • Try to incorporate native plants in your yard. 

  • Leave the Leaves!  This is how fireflies, native bees and salamanders keep warm in winter.

  • Don't use Pesticides.

  • Turn off the Lights.  Outdoor lighting negatively affects everything. from fireflies to birds, bats and more.
