As monarchs and other pollinators return to the garden, will they find the resources they need--or is there a timing mismatch? Our citizen science project will observe and record what we see, so we can better understand the timing of plants to pollinators each year.

About the event
A training session will be held at the Original Garden, across from the Lock 12 parking area on the FCHT, on May 31st at 10 a.m. Participants will sign up to make observations on a set number of marked plants. The plant list is approximately 9 plants. Not all plants bloom at the same time.
The program will run from June 1 - September 30. Participants need not sign up for the entire program.
Site visits will generally take 20 minutes or less.
Entering data can be done on your phone, or written on a paper form to be uploaded via your phone later in the day.
Volunteers are asked to:
Visit the garden twice a week. A CPP member will go out with you.
